  Centuries ago, Monkey King and Macaque started to cough out petals for each other in secret. The illness flares up when they meet again in the present, and as they're stuck on a boat together, it becomes hard to hide it as they both get coughing fits everytime they're in the same room for a few minutes. In the background, MK is noticing everything and rolling his eyes... I do love a good Hanahaki fic, and this delivered! I especially loved the tension of both monkeys always getting stressed about their little problem being discovered everytime they were around each other!

The lack of self confidence and the reassuring! Super nice!!

Both quite shy because of their violent path, they still clearly crave the other's company, and try to get closer step by step. This was lovely, and I liked how the author took their time to really dig into the two monkey's thought process!

This was pretty cute and fun, especially with MK being so annoyed at both monkeys! The ending is pre-relationship although pretty obvious where it's headed!
